7 UI/UX Principles That Increase Conversions

Good design sells
A good interface is not just beauty; it guides the visitor to a clear next step. Here are seven principles I apply in UI/UX design using Figma.
1. A clear message
A visitor should understand within seconds what you offer and for whom. Make the main headline specific and direct.
2. Visual hierarchy
Use size, color and spacing to guide the eye to what matters first; do not give everything equal weight.
3. A clear call to action
Each page needs one clear main action such as "Get a quote", with a prominent color and specific text.
4. Simplicity and speed
Reduce choices, fields and distractions, and keep the page fast, since slowness loses customers: speed-up steps.
5. Mobile first
Most visits come from phones, so design first for small screens with large buttons and comfortable reading. To choose between site and app see website or app.
6. Trust
Show real contact details, past work, genuine customer reviews and a clear privacy policy.
7. Accessibility
Make the site usable for everyone with good color contrast, alt text and keyboard navigation, following the WCAG guidelines.
